1787 Fugio Cent. Pointed Rays. Newman 13-X, W-6855. Rarity-1. STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils. Mint State, Harshly Cleaned, Encased in Lucite.
With bright, vivid, rose-red surfaces. This coin is encased in a lucite block, 70.5 mm x 95.5 mm x 25 mm, within which is printed 125TH ANNIVERSARY / 1833-1958 / GREENWICH SAVINGS BANK. On the bottom of the lucite is also printed THE BANK OF NEW YORK, which hoard reportedly contained 726 Newman 13-Xs out of a total of 1,641 Fugio cents.
