1892-1893 World's Columbian Exposition Award Medal. By Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Charles E. Barber. Eglit-90, Rulau-X3. Bronze. Choice Mint State.
76 mm. Awarded to TYLER TUBE CO., as noted on the base of the plaque on the reverse. One of the finest survivors of this popular type we have offered in recent sales, this handsome copper-brown example exhibits smooth satin surfaces that border on Gem preservation. Fully struck, as well, and sure to please even the most discerning collector. Housed in the original metal, plush-interior fitted case that is nicely preserved and fully functional.
