HGC-3.2, 1567; Pr-989. Struck in the name and types of Alexander III (the Great) of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, helmet right above monogram. Nicely centered and attractively toned. Scratches are noted on the obverse field and reverse center.
