Egyptian Steatite Double-Sided Plaque. Third Intermediate Period, 22nd Dynasty, reign of Shoshenq I, ca. 945-924 B.C. 2.39 gms. EXTREMELY FINE.
Dimensions: 16 x 12.5mm. One side incised with a cartouche of Shoshenq I flanked by floral designs, the other with an enthroned lion-headed goddess flanked by two male figures. Small crack at left edge of figural side, otherwise good. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
