SYRIA. Seleukid Kingdom. Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (16.95 gms), Seleukeia on the Tigris Mint. NGC EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 2/5. Fine Style.
HGC-9, 128G; SC-378.3. Obverse: Diademed head of Antiochus I right; Reverse: Apollo, testing two arrows and resting hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monograms to outer left and outer right. A well-struck example with a bold portrait in high relief. Attractive light gray toning.
