CORINTHIA. Corinth. AR Stater (8.53 gms), ca. 405-345 B.C. NGC Ch VF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 5/5.
HGC-4, 1832; Pegasi-135. Obverse: Pegasos flying left; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left; to right, hound seated right. Although some die marks are noted on the obverse fields, this Stater presents sharp detail with only modest evidence of circulation. A charming coin with plenty of luster and an interesting reverse symbol.
