MACEDON. Kingdom of Macedon. Antigonos I Monophthalmos, as Strategos of Asia, 320-306/5 B.C, or as King, 306/5-301 B.C. AR Drachm, Kolophon Mint, ca. 310-301 B.C. NGC VF. Scratches.
Pr-1808. In the name and types of Alexander III. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, B above monogram; Π below throne. A nicely centered example with attractive details and deep cabinet toning.
