ITALY. Campania. Neapolis. AR Didrachm (Nomos), ca. 320-300 B.C. NGC VF.
HGC-1, 451; HN Italy-571; SNG ANS-325 (same dies). Obverse: Head of nymph right; Reverse: Man-headed bull standing right, head facing; above, Nike flying right, crowing bull; monogram below. A nicely centered example with attractive detail. The surfaces are deeply toned with flashy blue highlights and plenty of luster.
