GERMANY. Medallic Issues. Hamburg. Gold Medal of Ducat Weight, ND (ca. early-mid 18th Century). NGC MS-65.
cf. Gaedechens-II, p. 131, 135; cf. GPH-1142. Diameter: 23mm; Weight: 3.5 gms. On the Fourth Commandment. Obverse: Larger tree planted in bucket stands between two smaller trees in buckets; Reverse: Two panels, side by side, displaying the fourth commandment. An undisputed Gem of a specimen, this extremely enticing example exudes enchanting eye appeal and elegance through its robust, sharp strike and seemingly unending lustrous brilliance.
