Whiting-120; Merseburger-1055. Obverse: Half-length portrait of Martin Luther facing, head left, holding bible; Reverse: Inscription in 11 lines. A charmingly attractive and entirely wholesome specimen, this impressive example yields an original looking cabinet tone and impressive relief. Still somewhat lustrous, this medallic issue surely will attract much attention.
