GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Wolfenbuttel. "Light" Taler, 1576. Goslar Mint; mm: patriarchal cross. Julius. PCGS AU-53.
Dav-9060; KM (MB)-138; Welter-576. Presenting a wildman in motion as he walks with a candle ( licht in German, hence the appellation of a "light" Taler), this wholesome and mildly circulated specimen offers some rather alluring iridescent toning upon each side.
