PORTUGAL. Peca (6400 Reis - 4 Escudos), 1753. Lisbon Mint. Jose I. NGC Unc Details--Salt Water Damage.
Fr-101; KM-240. Despite the details designation, the noted saltwater damage actually adds a degree of intrigue, as this unhandled specimen was clearly lost at sea for what may have been more than two centuries. Pleasingly toned, with a pale yellow hue and darker orange nearer the devices.
