KM-C-170; Bit-895. Commemorating the opening of the monument at Borodino. Despite being struck during the reign of Nicholas I, this enticing crown features the bust of his predecessor, Alexander I, who was Czar of Russia at the time of the pivotal battle that was part of the Napoleonic Wars. Pleasantly toned and retaining some enchanting luster in the protected areas.
