PERU. Lot of (2). Banco la Providenca. 1 Sol, 18xx. P-S227p1 & S227p2. Front & Back Proofs. Fine & Extremely Fine.
A pairing of front and back proofs for this 1 Sol design. Printer's marks are found on both. The front proof displays paper thinning and missing paper, while a punch is in the upper left corner. The back proof has a large tear and has also been punched in the upper left corner, with missing paper in the upper and lower left corners. Discoloration of the top left corner. Both have been previously mounted.
