MEXICO. 8 Reales, 1793-Mo FM. Mexico City Mint. Charles IV. PCGS MS-61.
KM-109; FC-80; El-109; Yonaka-M8-93. Only a single coin has been graded higher at PCGS for the 1793 8 Reales issue minted in Mexico City. Mostly untoned save for some russet toning lightly around the obverse edges, the current example features a full, bold strike - partially due to a double striking which is visible on the obverse portrait. Arguably undergraded, the current example outshines most of its peers in terms of eye appeal.
