BOLIVIA. "Royal" Presentation Cob 8 Reales, 1683-P V. Potosi Mint. Charles II. NGC AU Details--Holed.
KM-R26; Cal-679. A VERY RARE and desirable type, this example displays the noted hole near the top along with a much later countermark attributed to Guatemala from 1838-40. Displaying only light, even handling, it sports an elegant gunmetal gray tone and some enchanting hints of brilliance emanating from the more protected areas.
