Lot of (2) Items Fashioned out of 1780-dated Austrian Maria Theresa Thalers.
The first made from two complete coins, hinged together with their insides hollowed out to house photographs. Two tiny beads are attached to the edge of each coin to function as a stand for the frame. The second piece in this lot is considerably more enigmatic - it is made of two thinned Maria Theresa thalers, one for each side, each dished out somewhat, hinged at the bottom and looped at the tops. The function of this item is unclear - but intriguing!
