BOLIVIA. Cob 4 Reales, ND (1574-76)-P. Potosi Mint; Assayer Alonso Rincon (R). Philip II. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, VF Details.
KM-4.2; Cal-518. Weight: 12.66 gms. A handsome shipwreck cob. Despite fuzzy details, the distinctive "R" of the first assayer Rincon is clearly visible. No legends made it onto the flan, but the obverse shield is nicely centered and the coin as a whole presents appealingly.
From the Pat Johnson Collection. Ex: Atocha shipwreck, sunk on 6 September 1622 off the coast of what is now the Florida Keys.
