Fr. 16. 1862 $1 Legal Tender Note. PMG Choice Fine 15. Mismatched Serial Number Error.
Series 260. Just around a handful of large size mismatched serial number notes are known to the collecting community, with this being one of three 1862 $1's listed in Dr. Frederick J. Bart's book United States Paper Money Errors. The left serial number is 83826 and the right is 83822. A rare opportunity to acquire this Civil War era error, and an opportunity that should not be passed up.
