Pack of (100). T-65. Confederate Currency. 1864 $100. PMG Encapsulated.
Serial numbers 15101-15200, Plate B. February 17th, 1864-Series II. Now here is something you don't run across everyday-an original consecutive pack of one hundred "Lucy Pickens" $100's. The original band is included, which has been repaired by a nail and as best as we can tell through the holder (and past experience handling packs), we do not feel the nail goes into the notes. Although the pack is only encapsulated by PMG and not graded, we note an annotation on the last note at top with minor spots at right. We are confident there are Choice Crisp Uncirculated notes within the pack, which are prized among Confederate paper collectors. This is the only pack we are aware of, possibly unique.
