1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Proof-67+ (PCGS).
Outstanding surfaces exhibit vivid and exceptionally attractive crimson and lime-green peripheral toning around softer, antique silver centers. An extraordinary coin not only for the elegant toning, but for the technical superiority of the surfaces. This is one of the finest certified by PCGS of this issue, and is certainly within the top 200 known of this date, with most of that number tied at this grade level. A simply stunning coin that will be a highlight of any advanced collection.
