With an enticingly low mintage of 264,000 pieces and a limited population of Mint State survivors, the 1914-S quarter is regarded as a key date among advanced specialists in Barber coinage. This is a lovely Choice survivor, the surfaces brilliant with bright satin to semi-reflective luster. The strike is sharp in virtually all areas, and both the technical quality and eye appeal are outstanding for an issue that is typically offered well worn.
