The first date in a rather brief three-year series, this elegantly wholesome and alluring large gold issue offers tantalizing problem-free surfaces, some orange burnished toning near portions of the peripheries, and a warming degree of lustrous brilliance remaining in the fields. Quite RARE when encountered in such an elevated state of preservation as is the case here, but the advanced collector no doubt taking note.
