GREAT BRITAIN. Guinea, 1813. London Mint. George III. NGC PROOF-63.
S-3730; Fr-357; KM-684; WR-114 (R4). By Lewis Pingo. With only 6 examples certified between PCGS and NGC, this proof example of the popular "Military" Guinea takes that issue to an elite level of beauty, RARITY, and desirability. The deeply mirrored fields display just a little bit of marking, though nothing of an excessive amount. The devices are lightly frosted, and this example might well qualify for a cameo distinction in a newer generation NGC holder. Some light friction is seen on the obverse, though the reverse displays no major marking. A chance to own a piece that seldom comes to market, with the last example we were able to find trading in January of 2020.
