A generally commendable example of the popular 'Gothic' Crown, the highpoint of Victoria coinage, this specimen provides a comprehensive strike and a soft luster on the plum and cinder toned flan. Some marking in the obverse fields make the grade, but this drawback does little to hinder the captivating beauty of the design.
