S-2759; N-2196; Brooker-253 (same dies). Group 3, type 3b. Obverse: Charles, holding sword and reins, riding caparisoned horse trotting left; Reverse: Garnished oval coat-of-arms; Welsh plumes above. An exceptionally pleasing example of the type, presenting great gray toning and only minor, even handling throughout. Some slight striking weakness upon the horse is noted, though rather consistent for the emission.
