GREAT BRITAIN. Unite, ND (1604-05). London Mint; mm: lis. James I. PCGS AU-55.
S-2618; Fr-234; N-2083. Second coinage, second bust. Weight: 10.00 gms. Obverse: Crowned and armored half-length bust right, holding orb and lis-tipped scepter; Reverse: Garnished square-topped coat-of-arms; crown above. Exceedingly attractive and pleasing to the eye, this barely handled example features mostly golden-yellow surfaces, with some deeper orange hues accentuating the devices. So precise is the detailing that the minute characteristics of the king's armor are well defined.
