The First National Bank of Argyle was organized in July of 1906 and issued $138,220 worth of National Currency into circulation before going into receivership in August of 1930. At close just $720 worth of large notes were outstanding on the bank. Today only this note and a single $10 Red Seal are known on the bank. Small size Type-1 $10s were also issued but none are known. This example comes boldly printed with well penned bank officers' signatures. PMG comments "Pinholes" on the back of the holder.
