Winter Haven, Florida. $5 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 608. The American NB. Charter #12100. PMG Very Fine 20.
A mere 8 large size notes are reported to this second bank title for the charter, according to Track and Price. The American National Bank of Winter Haven was chartered in January of 1922, and was liquidated shortly after the Great Depression hit in November of 1929. In 1935, just $2,255 in large was reported outstanding on the bank. PMG comments "Rust."
