Fr. 95b. 1863 $10 Legal Tender Note. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58.
New Series 52. Two serial numbers. With ABNC imprints. A wonderful example of this Civil War era $10 Legal Tender Note. This example offers wide margins and bright paper. The dark green undertint surrounding the counters and obligation on the obverse remain attractive in bold ink. Cherry red serial numbers and the treasury seal retain excellent eye appeal. The reverse of the note shows intricate lathe work with the design found in dark forest green ink.
