Printed on the back of some type of fiscal documents. PMG notes Pieces Missing. There is a damaged, issued $1 note in the Rowe-Barr collection at SMU. The firm of Sweet & Lacoste served many of the prominent businessmen of the time. They were large suppliers of copper and commandeered large supplies of cotton bound for Great Britain during the Civil War. This same note first sold for just under $3,000 in a 2006 sale. Incredibly rare and possibly unique.
