(Garland UNL. Schafluetzel N-B.YWC-5-4PN) Plate B. Nov. 1, 1829. Low serial number 35. Imprint of Fairman, Draper & Underwood & Co. Post note payable at the Farmers & Mechanics Bank in Philadelphia. Agriculture at center. Boldly signed by Yeatman, Woods & Co. This banking firm was founded in the early 1820's but suspended activities resulting from the Panic of 1837. This is the Schafluetzel-Carson Plate Note and is believed to be unique.
