Different train and bridge vignettes at the upper corners. Early Civil War date. PMG notes Repaired; Tear. The bank was organized in 1835 and eventually became the Bank of Charleston, National Banking Association in 1872. This $7 note was part of a series that issued odd denominations of $6, $7, $8, $9. This is the first example we have sold of any denomination as they really are quite rare.
