1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Chain Reverse. S-3. Rarity-3-. AMERICA, Without Periods. VF Details--Environmental Damage (PCGS).
Given the historical significance of this one year design type, this relatively pleasing VF example is sure to find many willing buyers in today's market. It is an originally, if somewhat deeply toned example awash in even olive-copper color. The overall texture is a bit rough to explain the PCGS qualifier, but the in hand appearance is quite smooth with no significant marks or other individually mentionable blemishes. With more or less bold detail to all major design elements, this is a superior coin for the assigned grade that is worthy of serious bidder consideration.
