1755 Franco-American Jeton. The Argonauts and the Golden Fleece. Lecompte-159. Silver. Reeded Edge. MS-64 (PCGS).
29 mm. 10.06 grams. Coin alignment. Satin to semi-reflective surfaces with mottled iridescent toning that appears to drift toward the borders. We have offered several examples of this popular Argonauts and Golden Fleece type in recent years, but few paired with the 1741-dated Marine die, none of which have been in silver.
