1831 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-110. Rarity-2. MS-62 (PCGS).
Steel-blue peripheral toning gives way to warmer mauve-gray and reddish-apricot patina toward the centers. Lustrous and satiny overall, this is a well struck example for the die pairing that would do particularly well in Mint State type set.
