UKRAINE. Austria-Hungary - Poland - Ukraine. Agricultural and Industrial Exhibition in Lviv White Metal Exhibitor's Medal, 1877. Vienna Mint. UNCIRCULATED.
Attila-1877-05 brvni; H-Cz-6105; H-4185. By K. Radnitzky. Diameter: 74mm; Weight: 149.22 gms. Obverse: Bust of Count Włodzimierz Dzieduszycki right; Reverse: Legend in eight lines ( to commemorate the agricultural and industrial exhibition held in Lviv in 1877; exhibitor ). Edge : Plain. Extremely brilliant and impressive, this dazzling and rather SCARCE medal does exhibit some scattered marks and hairlines in the fields typical of the metal, but nevertheless remains enticing and mirrored. This exhibitor's medal was issued for the expo held in what is now Lviv (Lwów in Polish), located in western Ukraine near the border with Poland. The city has come under some attacks from its bellicose neighbor, though it has fared better than the eastern portions of the sovereign nation, as the current war brought upon by Russia continues to rage.
