SYRIA. Seleukid Kingdom. Antiochos VII Sidetes, 138-129 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (13.75 gms), Tyre Mint, dated SE 182 (131/0 B.C.). NGC Ch VF, Strike: 2/5 Surface: 2/5. Flan Flaw.
HGC-9, 1074; SC-2109.10c. Obverse: Diademed and draped bust right; Reverse: Eagle standing left on prow, with palm frond over shoulder; to left, monogram above club surmounted by Tyre monogram; to right, monogram above BΠP (date); monogram between legs. All details remain rather clear despite some handling and the noted flan flaw--occurring on the eye of the king.
