CYPRUS. Kition. Pumiathon, ca. 362/1-312 B.C. AR Tetradrachm (16.25 gms), ca. 325-320 B.C. NGC AU, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 3/5.
Pr-Unlisted. Struck in the name of Alexander III (the Great) of Macedon. Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding scepter and eagle; monogram in left field. Presenting a mix of pewter and gunmetal gray, this fairly well centered example offers a very solid strike and little in the way of handling.
