JAPAN. Yen, Year 7 (1874). Osaka Mint. Mutsuhito (Meiji). PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details.

KM-Y-A25.2; JNDA-01-10; JC-09-10-1. Variety with clockwise spiral on pearl and with shallow carved veins. A RARE KEY DATE, this specimen is rather alluring despite the noted cleaning by PCGS, with a beautiful razor sharp strike, nearly mirrored fields, and just a tinge of golden-red toning. Some very faint hairlines lead to the designation, though these do little to dampen the overall appeal of this example.
