KMX-M9; Lec-93. A wonderful example of the extremely popular and SCARCE Piastre issue from Cambodia. Struck from fresh dies that show no obvious signs of rust, this piece is also entirely glossy in the fields with deep amber and russet toning throughout. Considering its intended nature as a trade coin, with the denomination appearing in Chinese, French, Spanish and Khmer on the reverse, this type should appeal to collectors focused in many specialty areas.
