(S/M#C126). Printed by ABNC. An elusive Changchun variety 50 Cents note, offered here in a highly attractive About Uncirculated state of preservation. For reference, although this note is in a PCGS Banknote holder, PMG has graded just one example for this variety. The front of the note depicts an early steamship at left with the design details standing out in bold black ink. The reverse of the note has a central design of deep purple, dark blue and black ink. The front of the note is in Chinese whilst the back is in English. We have not offered this variety since our April 2012 Hong Kong auction, and this note should attract plenty of attention.
