JAPAN. Yen, Year 3 (1870). Osaka Mint. Mutsuhito (Meiji). PCGS MS-63.
KM-Y-5.1; JNDA-01-9; JC-09-9-1. Framed (type 1) sunburst, with common "yen". Sharply struck with soft orange-peach tone over both sides that strengthens at the edges. An unquestionably premium example of this ever-popular first year Yen issue.
