MEXICO. 8 Reales, 1845-Zs OM. Zacatecas Mint. NGC MS-62+.
KM-377.13; DP-Zs25. Die Style of 1842-45. This handsome example is RARELY encountered in Mint State condition, with the present specimen being a notable exception. Strong toning of blue and burgundy hangs on the top half of the obverse, with relatively frosted and matted surfaces in the untoned areas. A great example of an earlier type that should be a happy addition to the winning bidder's collection.
