A very scarce Type 1 $5 from this popular and widely sought after Bank at the northern tip of Martha's Vineyard, this evenly worn Fine 15 is how these are typically found. Only one high-grade note of this type has been located. A minor rust spot at the lower left corner is the only issue on this otherwise problem-free note. PMG comments "Minor Rust." Its last offering in May 2003 brought a winning bid of $1,179.
