There are about a dozen Original Series Aces from the Thames National Bank in Norwich CT known, and most, like this note, are in relatively low grade. We note a small area of repair at the center of the bottom margin, but it appears relatively minor in the overall scheme of things. The signatures remain legible and sharp, and the red overprint still has a bit of life in it. Well worn to be sure, but really not a bad example given the grade. A $632.50 note when last sold in September 2007. PMG comments "Repaired."
