This railroad was chartered in 1853 and was intended to run between northeast Texas and the Mississippi River before the Civil War overcame these efforts. In early 1862, Confederate authorities seized control of the line due to the Union sympathies of the railroad's officers. PMG notes "Previously Mounted, Toning." We sold another AU without problems that sold for $480. An exceptional grade note that should be very well received.
