Mount Pleasant, Texas. $10 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 631. The State NB. Charter #6139. PMG Fine 12.

This note comes from the second bank title for the charter. Three notes, all large size, are reported in track and price for the State NB. The bank was chartered on February 27th, 1902 and issued $634,250 until it was liquidated on May 12th, 1924. $59,300 was reported out at close. The Cashiers signature is found in a dark gray ink, while the Presidents signature has sadly faded into the sands of time. Scarce, and surely missing from even the most advanced collections of Texas Nationals.
