Upper Marlboro, Maryland. $5 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 607. The First NB of Southern Maryland. Charter #5471. PMG Very Fine 20.

An evenly-circulated, well-balanced and problem-free example from this elusive Prince George's County bank. With a good overprint and sharp signatures, it is an ideal mid-grade note. While no prior sales were located for this particular note, an only slightly better example (PMG VF 30) recently brought $1,440 in a January 2018 sale.
