1908 Liberty Head Half Eagle. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC.
This lovely golden-rose example possesses semi-reflectivity in the fields that enhances an otherwise satin to softly frosted mint finish. The 1908 is readily obtainable at lower levels, but is scarce in the finest Mint State grades. As the final circulation strike issue in the Liberty Head half eagle series, it is popular for type purposes throughout the numismatic grading scale.
